Can we fly to Busuanga from any other airport in the Philippines or only from Manila?

At this time, the only way to fly to Busuanga is from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Manila).

Once we arrive at Busuanga airport, how do we get to Sangat Island?

Once we have your confirmed flight arrival details into Busuanga, just relax… we’ll take it from here.

After landing at Busuanga airport, one of our resort representatives – who will be holding a sign labeled “Sangat Island” – will escort you and your party to a waiting vehicle.

After a 30-minute ride to the Coron town pier you’ll be put aboard one of our boats for your final 40-minute journey to Sangat Island.

What is the baggage weight allowances on domestic air flights from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Manila) to Busuanga?

Can I pay for domestic airline terminal fees and excess baggage fees in my home currency or do I need to pay for these expenses in Philippine Pesos?

Both Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Manila) and Francisco B Reyes Airport (Busuanga) require terminal and excess baggage fees to be paid in Philippine Pesos (Php) .

Terminal fees assessed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport are 200 Philippine Pesos; terminal Fees assessed at Francisco B. Reyes Airport (Busuanga) are 20 Philippine Pesos.

What is the easiest and least expensive way to get to Sangat from El Nido – and back again?

The cheapest way to get from El-Nido to Coron (and back again) is by booking your travel on a “Banca Ferry". The trip takes from seven to eight hours and it can – at times – be a rough ride depending upon current weather and sea conditions.

Traveler beware: If you’re prone to sea sickness, or are nervous about long trips through potentially heavy seas, a Banca Ferry may not be your most favorite conveyance to and from our lovely island.

The only other way to get to and from Sangat from El Nido is to fly back to Manila on ITI airlines and then connect to a flight going to Busuanga. A second flight option would be to charter the Subic seaplane.
